Exploring Iceland

Flying into Iceland, I wasn't really sure what to expect.

We arrived at Klefavic International Airport around 7 am. Our day would start with a quick walk to Blue Cars Rental, about 1 block away from the airport terminal and then we would drive for about an hour to Reykjavik,  the capital and biggest city in Iceland.

After looking around Reykjavik for a bit, checking into 'Alda Hotel', and getting some much needed coffee, we went off to experience what exploring Iceland would be like! Whoa! Check out Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss.

With a population of around 300,000 humans (not counting wild horses lol) you can enjoy empty roads, no traffic.. Just look out the car window for endless beauty.

Over the next few days we explored as much as we wanted. Having daylight for almost 19 hours of the day really allowed us to get lost!

On our last day, we just wanted to relax and warm up :) It was time for the Blue Lagoon.

We did not expect Iceland to be so Amazing! Right after flying back into NYC we were already missing the peace and tranquility... And did I mention this place is a photographers paradise!
